Calling all students (Secondary and Tertiary Institutions) wherever you are! Home or away, showcase your brilliance, debate transformative ideas, and celebrate 30 years of statehood.
Who Can Participate?
Indigenes of Zamfara State, wherever they currently live or study (in-state or elsewhere in Nigeria).
Non-indigene students currently enrolled in a secondary school or university within Zamfara State.



COMPETITION CATEGORIES
Choose your field of brilliance. Participant groups can register for any of the 3 official categories below.
Essay Writing & Passage Reading
Expository & analytical essay competition addressing socioeconomic vision, governance, and development priorities for Zamfara State at 30.
Spoken Word & Poetry
Lyrical, cultural, and inspiring performances celebrating Hausa heritage, state pride, peace, and youth potential in Zamfara State.
Parliamentary Debate
Structured parliamentary motion debate challenging teams on critical state issues, economic policy, youth inclusion, and agricultural growth.
PRELIMINARIES & GRAND FINALE DATES
The competition is organized into two stages. Qualified teams from the preliminaries will advance to the Grand Finale on Independence & Anniversary Day!
Sept 23th – 25th, 2026
Elimination round across all categories.
October, 2026
Grand Gala & Championship Awards on Zamfara's 30th Anniversary in Gusau.

During team registration, each team member must submit the following mandatory details:
- Passport Photo (Live Upload)
- Phone Number & Email
- Full Address in Zamfara State.
- Local Government Area (LGA)
- N.I.N. Number (11 Digits)
- Upload Recent School ID.
- Parent / Guardian Contact
- School / University Details
Open to All 14 Local Government Areas
Students from any secondary school or higher institution across these LGAs are eligible to form a team.
